WAMware
Selects
Acuity as Exclusive National Distributor for I-PROCESSTM
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah —
November 2003 – WAMware is pleased to
announce that Acuity Incorporated has been selected as its exclusive
national distributor for the WAMware I-PROCESS product. Acuity will
continue its successful sales and support of I-PROCESS in the Pacific
Northwest and additionally begin an aggressive marketing program
throughout the USA to increase market awareness, sign value-added
resellers, and broaden the installed base for the product.
I-PROCESS is a web-based process workflow system which supports a wide
range of engineering, manufacturing and administrative processes, and can
be used to facilitate any collaborative process where document routing,
signatures or tasks are required. An important out-of-the-box
application of I-PROCESS is for Engineering Change Control, allowing
manufacturers to assure the visibility and traceability of all information
and decisions, thereby improving the efficiency of the product development
process itself, as well as the ability for the manufacturer to satisfy
industry regulatory requirements. In a matter of days, I-PROCESS is
installed, configured (without programming), and up-and-running at
customer sites.
For more than seventeen
years, Acuity has been providing high-value CAD, PLM and eBusiness
solutions to a growing, loyal customer base in the Pacific Northwest.
With the new relationship for I-PROCESS, Acuity now eagerly looks to
expand its geographical and market presence throughout the USA by devoting
professional staffmembers to the marketing, channel management, sales and
support of I-PROCESS.
"We are convinced that
I-PROCESS provides our customers and resellers, today and in the future,
the quickest return-on-investment available in the market.", said Tom
McKasson, President, Acuity Incorporated. "We are absolutely
delighted to be designated as the national distributor for I-PROCESS and
look forward to rapidly expanding the footprint for this important product
from coast-to-coast."
Wayne McClelland,
Chairman of WAMware, adds, "Acuity is a top-notch organization with strong
technical skills, business ethics and customer orientation. We're
pleased to focus our efforts on continued development of I-PROCESS as
Acuity aggressively carries the banner to the marketplace."
