Biographical Sketch - David A. Hurst
 | Prior to its acquisition by WAMware, Dave was founder and managing director
of First Day, Inc and personally active for six years in the following areas:
 | customized and oversaw data management tools for a large I-DEAS
installation in Silicon Valley. |
 | primary developer and product manager of UG2MS, a CAD data translator
with installations in Europe and across North America. |
 | developed the "Starter Course" for I-DEAS Master Series,
and delivered the course to a total of more than one-hundred students. |
 | performed complete concept-to-tooling modeling and design using I-DEAS
for plastic injection molded, cast and sheet metal parts. |
 | created customized drawing package template for derivative products using
I-DEAS.

 | As a member of the early TESIS WAMware GmbH team in Germany (at that time, icom
GmbH), Dave managed projects for:
 | finite element modeling and analysis for several German automotive and
aerospace companies. |
 | developing and conducting I-DEAS training for customers. |
 | developing the NBD program, a translator from NASTRAN to I-DEAS. Sold as
a standard product by SDRC.

 | As a structural analyst at Craycir Advanced Technology of Le Locle,
Switzerland, Dave:
 | developed new designs for existing components using metal matrix
composites. |
 | managed testing program for new materials. |
 | developed internal program for analyzing mold temperatures during the
casting process.

 | During his six year tenure at SDRC offices in Cincinnati, San Diego, and
Frankfurt, Dave was active in:
 | developing plastic injection molding analysis software |
 | developing code portability utilities and procedures |
 | providing pre- and post-sales support for I-DEAS customers
