Wolfgang Dietzler

and President, WAMware Engineering Solutions

Wolfgang Dietzler is managing director and principal owner of ECS GmbH, which he founded in 1996 following a 23-year career at Siemens AG. Specifically, he brings over 30 years of general IT experience, ten of which directly in technical computing (CAD, CAM, CAE, CIM and PDM), to his activities at ECS and WAMware.

In April 1996 Wolfgang founded ECS GmbH with and initial staff of 14 employees. The company now has over 40 full-time employees working from its offices in Neumarkt, Rostock and Hamburg, Germany. Wolfgang also serves as President of our North American WAMware activities overseeing market and business development.

Wolfgang’s extensive tenure at Siemens AG included the following:

	Business Area Manager of a 50-person team responsible for sales and support of IT solutions in southern Germany as well as internal use by Siemens units worldwide.
	A number of positions devoted to planning, logistics, operations, marketing and sales for Siemens divisions in Dortmund, Essen, Munich and Nurenberg.

Additionally, a two-year stint at Prime Computer provided Wolfgang with his initial grounding in the CAD/CAM area.
