File, Open... select the desired image to edit
Cropping

select the Crop icon

then click/drag out an area on the image that you want to keep |
|
you can adjust this area by moving the mouse near the edges of the area, and then pull out/in |
|
then double-click within this area to complete the crop |
Rotating
|
from the Menu Bar... Image, Rotate... right, left or enter an angle |
Adjust Brightness/Contrast
|
from the Menu Bar... Color, Adjust, Brightness/Contrast |
|
enter new values or use the sliders to change brightness and contrast |
|
remember that you can always... Edit, Undo |
|
Note: you may first want to try... Effects, Enhance Photo, Auto Contrast |
of course, when you
like the new image... File, Save
